November has flown by, and the holiday season is nearly here. While many of us are looking forward to a break over the Christmas and New Year period, the holidays also mean shorter months with everyone working hard in preparation.

Birds nests – Be aware of the fire risk
The weather is warmer, and this means the birds are out nesting and they love warm dry spots like an engine or exhaust . Take a few minutes every time before your start your machine to check it over for any signs of bird nests and clean them out before they become a hazard. It only take a few hours for a bird to build a nest, and this has the potential to create a fire. A quick safety check could save an expensive (and dangerous) situation.

Scotty Walker seen a few attachments in his 6 years with Robur, but this one was a little special. This 12T Ram Tilt hitch is one of our original designs an is an impressive 16 years old, with more than 15,000 hours in operation! It has outlived 2 diggers and has come in for a refurbishment before heading out on it’s third digger. It’s great to see that aside from a few small refinements like making the hitch more compact, and the addition of a double lock coupler base, the basic design is the same as the hitches we make today – smarter-tougher-faster.
