Because the pipe is being held in a fixedposition and its movement being controlled byan operator, worker injuries are minimised dueto the pipe not moving freely on a chain or slingwhile the worker is in the trench.

The operator can view the pipe alignmentfrom the cab of the machine with precision. Pipes can be removed from the trench withoutthe use of slings or hands.

The PIPEBOSS laser alignment tool uses dualcameras and laser targets mounted at eachend of the tool, allowing the operator to see theinternal alignment of the pipe and its matchingO ring – essential when installing pipes.

PIPEBOSS can handle different dimensionsof pipes from 200mm up to 925mm, simply byadjusting both jaws via the bolted connectionsand control bars.
